Firm N.Z. market
The New Zealand sharemarket opened the shortened trading week on a firm note in moderately active trading yesterday. Southland Frozen Meat gained a further 5c to 270 c, and two other meat companies, C.F.M. and Waitaki N.Z.R., were also firmer. BNZ Finance made another 10c gain to 235 c, and Brambles Burnett eased lc to 61c in busy trading.
