Business training panel
The selection panel for a new Department of Maori Affairs business training programme will visit .Christchurch on April 24. About 20 applicants will be accepted for the nineweek course in Wellington. Training in all aspects df running a small business will be offered. The programme is based on one in Hawaii. Dr George Kanahele, the director of that course, will help select applicants and participate in the programme’s early stages. The selectors will also include the New Zealand co-ordinator of the Tu Tangata Business Wananga (Dr Ralph Love) and a member of the New Zealand Chambers of Commerce.-
