This new postiion will be concerned with research on the health effects of cadmium. The position, which initially is for 18 months, would suit a University graduate in chemistry with work experience in analytical chemistry and with an interest in atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The work will involve development of new methods and quality control of routine analysis. POST-GRADUATE STUDENTSHIPS MICROBIOLOGY/ BIOCHEMISTRY ABO/3 STUDENTSHIPS are available in a research group interested in the biochemistry and microbiology of extremely thermophilic bacteria. Successful candidates will have their own project, but will be expected to work in association with .staff, postdoctoral workers and other research students in the same area. Clinical Tutors are appointed for up to three years with reappointment annually. The appointments commence on February 1, 1981, at an initial salary of $10,245 per annum. Clinical Tutors are required to assist with teaching and other duties under the direction of Associate Professor E. M. Harkness.
