Motorist run over
PA Blenheim A young man who was thrown out of" his car, then run over by another car, died near Blenheim on Saturday evening. He was Grant Alexander Webster aged 21, a timber worker, erf Holdaway Street, Blenheim. His car apparently overturned when it failed to take a bend on State highway 1, 500 metres north of Grovetown, at 9.50 p.m. The police believe Mr Webster was thrown out. A car travelling in the opposite direction had stopped to give aid but an oncoming car struck Mr Webster’s body as it lay on the roadway. He was found to be dead on arrival at hospital.
