Australian pair win 12ft yachting title

PA ■ Auckland Derek and Stephen Adams made it 10 in a row for Australia when they won the interdominion 12-foot yachting ing championships off Orakei yesterday. The Sydney pair, in Summer Formula, finished fourth in the final race of the Stubbies series, but the performance wasgood enough for over-all honours, together with the second they took in

the sixth heat on Saturday. Another Australian crew, Karl Evans and Michael Carter (International Yacht Paints), .finished second over all after winning the race on Saturday and coming, in tenth in the light northerly, airs yesterday. The top New Zealanders, Robin Williams and Greg Roake, held on to third place in Fyfe Sails, in spite of a poor performance over th® week-end. <
