■ PA Auckland ’ I A flying instructor and 1 his pupil had a few tense : moments at the Ardmore : airfield at Auckland ! yesterday when they I found themselves forced ' to land on one wheel. ■ Onlookers were divided about the cause of the incident. Some said it . appeared a bolt had broken and-the wheel had come loose, after leaving the airfield. • - ■ Others said it appeared a tyre had . punctured at take-off. ‘ ‘ . The Cherokee aircraft, had to wait until crash and fire tenders were ready before landing at Ardmore, but it got down without problems. Damage to the aircraft was minimal and the two. occupants were reported to be unhurt..
