Minister out of hospital
PA Auckland The Minister of Police (Mr Gill) left Auckland’s Mater Misericordia Hospital yesterday “feeling pretty well” after surgery for the removal of multiple tumours in the bladder.' According to a specialist, Mr R. Chambers, Mr Gill has recovered well and should be fit to resume his normal duties in about two months.
“It is expected that the radiotherapy and surgery have completely removed the tumours, and there will be no recurrence*” said Mr Chambers. “He should therefore have no permanent disability, and should be able to continue his electoral and Parliamentary duties without hindrance.”
