New look’ conference
This year’s round of political party conferences will start with a “new look” Values conference, at which the public will be invited to join party members in discussing political and social topics.
The conference will be held at Auckland from April 4 to 7, and will discuss -two themes, “Work in the 1980 s.” and “Politics in the 1980sl” Speakers will include a scientist, an accountant, and a trade union organiser, who will look particularly at new technologies. Political speakers will include party leaders, a university lecturer .on international affairs,- a representative of the Working Women’s Council and a sociologist.
