Solar plan sought

PA Wellington New' Zealand may soon have a solar energy plan designed to see it into the twenty-first century, according to the president of the Solar Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (Mr L. H. Chapman). The association was calling for contributions to rhe plan, he said yesterday. Mr Chapman said that while a solar energy plan was new to New Zealand, many other countries had developed plans with government help. “New Zealand needs to look ahead and set goals for solar energy use,” he said.
