Clements at Awapuni
PA Wellington Brendon Clements, a leading apprentice in Australia has secured the ride on Aspen Row in the $40,000 Manawatu Sires Produce Stakes at Awapuni on Saturday. Clements, who is 19, comes from Palmerston North. He will ride there on Saturday as part of the Manawatu Racing Club’s centennial celebrations. Clements has seven rides already and needs one to complete his book of rides.
He is on Koiro Kutelle in the Air New Zealand Handicap, Achtung (Pioneer). Foreign Affair (Woodhey), Rabalam (Centennial Cup), Battle Treaty (Te Matai) and Daisy (BBA Handicap) as well as Aspen Row.
