OLYMPIC TRIAL?
Moves are being made in: Europe to have motorcycling included in the 1984 Olympic Games In Los Angeles. The man behind the proposal is the president of the Belgian Motor-cycling Federation, Mr Rene Bruneel, who is now a full member of the Belgian Olympic Committee, The Belgian committed has already indicated that it would support an application from the F.I.M. for the inclusion of motor-cycling events in the Olympics. . Just what form the motor-cycling would take remains open to question, although it is probable that it would be a trials event. If motor-cycling is not accepted for the Los Angeles Games, Mr Bruneel is confident that it will be included in the 1988 Games, which will be held in Belgium. .
