Fluoridation dialogue for Riccarton

The Riccarton Borough' Council will hold a series of meetings later this year to aquaint residents with the pros and cons of fluoridation.

Speakers at the meetings will talk for and against 'fluoridating the Riccarton Borough water suppl} 7 , after which residents will be asked to indicate their opinions to the council. A council stand on the issue will not be taken until after the local government elections at the end of this year. Voters can either post their opinions on fluoridation to the council or cal! at the council’s office and speak to members. The Town Clerk of Riccarton (Mr T. N. Neate) has been appointed Riccarton re* turning officer for the elections. which will be by postal ballot.
