NZPA-Reuter Lagos Amid scenes of frantic excitment, Nigeria won the African Nations’ Soccer Cup at Lagos on Saturday with a crashing 3-0 victory over Algeria in the final. It was sweet revenge for Nigeria, which lost 0-1 to Algeria the last time the nations met. — in the final of the All-African Games in 1978.
