Administration of national parks
Sir, — The proposed transfer of responsibility for the administration’' of national parks to the Department of Lands and Survey seems to be no more or less than another exercise in Wellington style* bureaucratic empire building. If'ft sad that bodies made, np of local people having a direct concern for and* interest in particular parks are to be replaced by an office in Wellington. — Yours, etc., D. MARSHALL. March 24* 1980*
