Untidy sections
Sir, — May I draw attention to the extremely untidy state of the empty sections once used by the old Teachers’ College near Cranmer Square. Some of these sections had "temporary” huts on them for many years. These were ugly enough, but since their removal, weeds and rubbish have taken over. Similarly, how much longer will the vandalised, dilapidated old stone building be left to disgrace the area?
For a government department to treat our city so carelessly is intolerable.- — Yours, etc., R. L’. POTTER. March 19, 1980.
