PA Auckland Mark Burgess, perhaps out to prove to himself and his fellow New Zealand cricket selectors that he might still be a leading candidate for the coming tour, of Australia, provided the highlight on the first day of the match between Auckland and Young New Zealand at Eden Park yesterday. Burgess, out of representative play this season [through illness, produced a I gritty innings of 64.
