Gang members sought
The Police are still looking for the gang members involved in the brawl in Cathedral Square on Tuesday. The fight involved about seven men and youths wearing “Black Power” and “Mongrel Mob” patches, and wielding a variety of weapons including a hammer, a steel bar, and a butcher’s knife.
One youth was arrested and charged with rioting soon after the incident in which two men were stabbed and another beaten with a hammer.
The officer in charge of ! the investigation (Senior Sergeant A. E. Yaxley) said jit was expected that further 'arrests . would be made in I the near future.
