Egg prices up again

PA Wellington The price of eggs’will increase today by 2 c a dozen in the North Island, Nelson, and Marlborough and by 4c ! a dozen in the rest of the South Island. Residents on the West Coast of the South . Island pay the most for their eggs. Under the new price sched-

pie they will pay $1.27 for a dozen carton of grade-six | eggs. In Northland and the ’Wellington area the' same :carton will cost $1.22.

Elsewhere in the North Island, Nelson, and Marlborough the cost will be $1.20 and the remainder of the South Island will pay $1.24. Eggs sold loose are 6c a dozen cheaper.
