The board’s area extends from the Buller Gorge to Awarua Point, south of Haast, and includes some of the most interesting and challenging country in New Zealand. The board operates one diesel and 10 hydro-electric stations generating a high proportion of its power requirements. The successful applicant will participate in a project concerned with the structure, function and metabolism of the proteins of connected tissues of blood vessel walls.
