Clyde raises dividend
Clyde Industries, Ltd, has lifted its interim dividend from 5c to 5.625 c a share, after a 73 per cent profit increase in the six months to December 31. Profit rose from $2.9 million to $5.0 million. Turnover rose 38 per cent to $92.0 million. Manufacturing Investments, Ltd, a subsidiary traded at a loss in the year to June 30, 1979, but since then results had been improved and . contributed $281,000 to group profit.
