Mouldeys Tract
Sir, —Who is responsible for changing the historically meaningful sign of “Scarborn ough Track” to Mouldeys? Scarborough residents were never considered, nor pedes* trians, who will be misled, Scarborough Road is poorly signposted, especially since the M.E.D. replaced a power pole, but the Scarborough sign was not attached. Many times strangers and trades* men mistake Scarborough Road for Taylors Mistake Road. How will pedestrians now fare? Scarborough Road was so named by Mr Pater-' son because of its resemblance to Scarborough, Eng-, land. Will whoever is responsible please give us detailed information of the total cost,’ /including the price of signs, plus labour and transport? Scarborough residents .are still hopeful that the Scarborough sign will be replaced, and will fight for it.—Yours, etc., .
