A graduate is required to undertake development work and to act as an examiner for applications. The desired qualification is B. Hort Sc. or equivalent. Duties include the supervision of seed certification in the North Island; oversight of herbage plot tests as required by OECD; and liaison vyith outside research institutions, merchants ana other Ministry staff on matters relating to the seed industry. Duties are varied and interesting and include supervision and minor maintenance of hydro generating plant consisting of turbines, generators, switch-gear, transformers, etc. EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS: This station is manned continuously and three eight-hour rostered shifts are worked each day.
