Governor’s message
In this 75th Jubilee Year of Rotan- International I am delighted to have the opportunity, on behalf of Rotary in District 998, to say thank you to all those people who have assisted us over the years in our endeavours for service and understanding. Rotary District 998 comprises the 58 Rotary Clubs in the South Island and the success of our community service and fund-raising projects has been due to the direct support of our fellow citizens.
The same support has enabled us to successfully complete our Jubilee project of raising $lOO,OOO for the New Zealand Paraplegic and Physically Disabled Federation. I hope that in the future the service programmes of Rotary will • continue to merit the support of our friends and fellow citizens.
