W. Harris, general manager of ■ .the - . North Canterbury Power Board, said that the:.rebate was payable to many industries, and hotels and -motels which supplied a certain .level of accommodation. The North Canterbury and Central Canterbury boards expect many - applications from farmers’ 1 for irrigation. : The. ; Canterbury Manufacturers’ -Association has also issued copies of the application forms. Anybody who 'has? hot . received . a form, and who believes he may be eligible for the rebate, should get in touch with, his local power-board. The concessions will apply from April 1:
