(3) There is considerable demand for the purchase of items ancilliary to scuba diving throughout Saturdays either as replacement for old Or broken eouipment Or as new and additional equipment. (4) Scuba diving bv its very nature is principally a week-end occupation and as air tanks are an essential part thereof and only last- for a limited period the greatest demand for the refilling of air tanks is on the weekends, particularly on Saturdays. . (5) The diving shops in Christchurch at the present time onlv offer very limited facilities for the re- . filling of air tanks and the nurchase of equipment. (6) The amendments sought will have no effect on prices for services or good provided. (7) The granting of an application will have a beneficial affect on the sport of scuba diving in the area.
