The outstanding young Morrinsville trotting mare, Thriller Dee, was declared by her connections yesterday a certain contender for Inter-Dominion Championship honours in Sydney next month. “It mainly depended on her handicap,” said ■. her trainer, lan Hunter. “Now she has been put on the . front mark, she will be there.” Hunter will drive Thriller Dee in the series.

Hunter said there was an $BOOO event at Fairfield three nights after -the trotting final and a $7500 invitation race was included in the programme for the last night of the Inter-Domi-nions. If Thriller Dee contests either race she will be driven by John Dickie, a son of -the mare’s breeder, Mrs G. Dickie. They race Thriller Dee in partnership. Thriller Dee, a four.-year-old by Crockett from Gay Marlene, has had four wins and two seconds from seven attempts this season. She has raced only 19 times in all for 11 wins'and four seconds.
