Jfi® RENISON LIMITED PROJECT ENGINEER (up to $A20,000 p.a. plus house) Renison Limited, one of the world's largest tin producers, is a member of the Consolidated Gold Fields Australia Limited Group of Companies and operates a modern, highly mechanised underground mine on the West Coast of Tasmania. The Company is now engaged in an SA 18 million expansion programme and is seeking a mechanical engineer to assist the Chief Project Engineer with the necessary planning and contract supervision. The expansion involves replacement, or extension, of most major elements of the mill and concentrating plant and the successful engineer can be assured of stimulating and challenging work now ano in the future. ' QUALIFICATIONS: A formal qualification in mechanical engineering is essential. While several years of experience is preferred, applicants with less, but directly i elevant, experience would be seriously considered. Ideally, this would cover the installation of heavy metallurgical equipment. AGE: Age is not important, provided the applicant has the experience, drive and enthusiasm necessary to succeed in this position. SALARY AND CONDITIONS: Salary is quite flexible and an attractive figure, recognising qualifications and experience, will be negotiated with the successful applicant. Up to 5A20.000 p.a. can be taken as a guide. Modern, single and married accommodation is available at low rental and generous superannuation scheme applies. LOCATION: The mine is situated at Renison Bell on the West Coast of Tasmania. Housing is in the nearby town of Zeehan where there are a supermarket, motel, shops and sporting facilities. The neighbouring towns of Queenstown and Rosebery provide additional facilities, while the major centres of Launceston, Burnie and Hobart are all within reasonable driving distance.
