Mixed, active market
Trading’ was active on a mixed New Zealand sharemarket yesterday. Vacation Hotels fell 7c to 60c after reporting' a decline in profit, and U.E.8., which . has tourist interests after acquiring’ Trans Holdings, may have been affected by the result as its shares lost 2c to 90c. However, U.E.B. announced on Tuesday that it planned to make a specified preference issue. Arthur Yates, City Realties, and Repco N.Z. all firmed on recent good profit reports.
