Greyhounds owned in the far south scooped the pool in the two main races at the Christchurch Greyhound Racing Club’s totalistor meeting at Queen Elizabeth II Park last evening. Your Our Girl, having’her first outing orrthe track, won the Merv Gibson trophy impressively over 820 m for her Invercargill owner and trainer, Mr A. Stojkovich. A record double dividend of $190.35 was returned when Cracker Starlet ended the winning sequence of six by Nighborn in the Mid-Sum-mer Stakes.
