Mr Fraser plans to arrive at Christchurch airport about 6 p.m. and Mr Muldoon will be there tq meet him.
• Mr Fraser has discussed .the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan with the United '.States' President, Mr Carter, and leaders in Britain, Germany and France. He asked to stop over in New Zealand on his way back home to brief Mr Muldoon on these discussions?
The two will drive to Noahs from the airport, have a working dinner, and continue their talks afterward if necessary. Mr Fraser will leave for Australia about 8 p.m. on Tuesday. .
Wellington was ruled tout as a venue for the one-night stop-over because Mr Fraser’s Boeing 707 cannot land at the capital’s airport.
