Clyde company changes name
The public parent company listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange as Clyde Engineering Limited has been re-named Clyde Group Limited and trading activities formerly handled by the company are to be promoted through a separate, wholly owned subsidiary company, Clyde Industries (N.Z.) Limited.
As from February 1, .1980, the Lower Hutt head office and branches located at Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Napier, Lower Hutt and Christchurch will operate as Clyde Industries (N.Z.) Limited. The change adopted will not affect current employment or trading policies and identification with a new trading image in the market place is a natural step forward in the company’s development.
Clyde Industries (N.Z.) Limited is to continue, the New Zealarid distribution of Perkins diesel engines,. Terex earthmoving equipment, Johnston road suction sweepers, Rexnord compactors, Kate 'excavators and Catoleum water treatment products and is expected to di-
vcisuy into a broader range of industrial products during the 80s.
