Two Lion leaders
Richard Leggat (Old Collegians) and lan Wilson (Sydenham) have put themselves two points clear of the field in the Lion player of the day contest in senior cricket. They each scored two points on Saturday to bring their totals to 14. On 12 are John Mitchell, David Stead and Bevan Congdon, with Barry Hadlee and John Calder one point further back. Saturday’s points were:/ Three: Gary MacDonald, David Rathie, Tim Murdoch, John Phillips. Two: Chris Thiele, Wilson, Leggat, Peter Wallace. One: Barry Hadlee, Bruce Irving, Steve McNally, Mark Priest.
