A weight restriction of 12,500 kg (gross -weight) and speed-restriction of 20km/h has been imposed on the Gates of Haast Bridge. Traffic leading on the bridge is restricted to one.vehicle at a time and bus operators are required to off-load-passengers, before proceeding over the bridge. ' ' P. F.
