Ladyship Khan Greymouth pick

Ladyship Khan, a minor place-getter at Addington Raceway on New-Year’s night, is expected to be_ the hardest to beat in the Dominion Breweries Stakes at Victoria Park Raceway tomorrow night. This 2600 m event for class four and five pacers is the first leg of the Greymouth Trotting Club’s T.A.B. double. Ladyship Khan was a handy third behind Good Going and Flora Dor in the Hogmanay Stakes, a sprint event for class five and six horses on Tuesday. On recent form the best of the others should be Hurricane Kirk but a bold run from Merry Chase would not come as a surprise. The issue in the second leg, the Ron Rico Trot, should be between the consistent Ponderosa Ginge, one of two on the 20m mark, Kotare Flight and the laststart winner, Rowdy Rose, both off the front, and the consistent Ailsa Hanover, the back-marker on 40m. Selections:— , 4.5 p.m—Welcomo Stakes: Trydon Frost, Eastwood Jubilee, Roaring Forties. 4.40 p.m—Canterbury Park Stakes: Morning Express, Lord Scotch, Recap.. 5.15 p.m—New Year Stakes: Mala Nada, Sharon Lee, Hullabaloo. 5.50 p.m—Andrews Memorial: Longridge, Robert Day, Uzone. ,■ 6.25 p.m.—Brebner Stakes: Butler Band, Knight's Command, Hallfield Dream. 7.5 o.m.—Craddock Memorial: Southern Melody, Stormy, Crockett Wood. 7.45 p.m.—Dominion Breweries Stakes: .Ladyship Khan, Hurricane Kirk. 8.25 p.m. — Cunningham Stakes: Eastwood Jubilee, Arion Gay, Game Classic. 9.5 p.m—Ron Rico Trot: Ponderosa Ginge, Kotare Flight, Ailsa Hanover. 9.40 p.m.—Dianne Howe Stakes: Jersey Silk, Mala Nada, Jenny Robyn.
