Wainoni house
Sir, — I refer to your article on page 4 (December 31) about the obviously distressing circumstances of the occupants of the house at Wainoni. While concerned neighbours and cleaning contractors might feel uninhibited socially and legally about giving private information about this family, I was unhappy tri see One of the children’s schoolteachers giving what I thought would be- confidential information. The efforts of concerned workers, perhaps including s.iioolteachers, to help should remain confidential and only be use'd to aid rather than malign this family. ■ — Yours, etc., L. HUNTER.
January 1, 1980. [We do not consider the schoolteacher’s comments were offensive, but that he gave factual and unemotive information.—Editor]
