Mazda 626 sells well
In its first-year of production, world-wide sales of the Mazda 626 medium saloon reached 218,365. A remarkable 63 per cent .of these were exported from Japan.
Mazda has joined the top 10 world manufacturers by producing over , a million vehicles in the last fiscal year. Other manufacturers in the elite group were GM (United States), Ford (United States). Toyota, Nissan, V.W.-Audi, Chrysler (United States), Peugeot-Citroen, Fiat and Renault.
