R. J.'s mount.—The top New Zealand jockey. Bob Skelton, is expected to ride Rothschild in the Perth Cup on Tuesday after the Brisbane jockey. Mick Dittman, the regular rider for Rothschild. injured an ankle while water ski-ing.—Perth.
Rehandicap.—Blue Denim has been rehandicapped Ikg to 51 for the Auckland Cup on New Year's Day following her win in the Kiwi House Handicap at Rotorua yesterday.—PA
