Interest in lamb
RA Wellington ' New Zealand’s best hope of increasing exports toi Canada was with lamb, according to a senior Canadian Agriculture Department official in Wellington Dr Gerry Trant, senior assistant deputy for policy and economics in the department, is with a Canadian delegation, having talks with Government counterparts. He dismissed fears of Canadian beef protectionism and of the building up of a competitive dairy induistry.
