Condition ‘serious’
The woman whose two young children were killed in an accident near Springston on Tuesday was still seriously ill in the intensive-care unit at the Christchurch Hospital last evening. Mary Joan Fenemor, aged 28, of Brookside Road, Rolleston, suffered severe head and chest injuries when her car and a truck collided on the Springston-Rolleston Road about 3 p.m. The children, Vicky Ann Fenemor, aged nine, and Michael John Fenemor,
aged three, were killed instantly.
