Body of boy found

PA Dunedin The body of Stephen Jewiss, aged two, was found floating in a Mosgiel sewage pond yesterday, about half a mile from the Goodall Street house from which he disappeared. The police believe that he fell into the pond soon after he disappeared about noon on Friday, but his body came to the surface only yesterday morning. The body was found by Mosgiel Borough Council workers at the plant. It is thought that the child either went through an open gate or climbed over it, climbed 5m up steps to a walkway, and then fell from the walkway into the settling tank.
