ENGINEERING SERVICES MANAGER WE ARE SEEKING applications from suitably qualified engineers for the position of engineering services manager with associated responsibilities for the repair, maintenance, upgrading of existing process and service facilties, and the co-ordination of engineering projects. The company with its factory situated in Te Awamutu, manufactures butter, casein and caseinates, and spray milk powders. It employs a manufacturing staff of 100 and has a service section of three fitters, two electricians, two carpenters, and four boiler men. Te Awamutu is a very’ pleasant town with a population of 7000, it is situated 28km south of Hamilton, has excellent sporting, and recreational facilities, and its educational and medical facilities would be second to none in New Zealand. The Engineer Services Manager will be directly responsible to the production manager for the repair and maintenance of all processing and associated equipment, buildings, and services associated with the manufacture of modern diversified dairy products. Applications are sought from persons 30 to 45 years, with a qualification in engineering. H.N.C. or N.Z.C.E. or equivalent, with engineering and supervisory experience in the dairy, food, or related process industries where they have been able to demonstrate ability to lead and motivate the group with which they have been associated. To obtain the services erf the right person the company expects to pay a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
