1 PA Wellington It was totally unnecessary for Mrs Ann Hercus, the Labour member of Parliament for Lyttelton, to suggest that an emergency assistance programme was needed to save hundreds of jobs in the textile industry, the Minister of Trade and Industry (Mr AdamsSchneider) has said.
