Government securities
PA Wellington Sales of Government securities reported by specialised dealers for the week to November 23 amounted to 28 transactions, totalling $21,327,090. Of this total four transactions, totalling $15.2M. involved Treasury bills. The weighted-average yield for Treasury bills was 9.232 per cent. Sa'es of Government stock totalled $5,827,090.00. from 24 transactions. The weighted-average yield for stocks maturing under two years was 12.104 per cent from two to five years 12.841
per cent, and over five vears 13.084 per cent. The transactions do not include those with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
