Lawyer on ‘justice swaying’ charge
PA Auckland An Auckland solicitor appeared in the Magistrate’s: Court at Henderson, yester-j .day on two charges of attempting to sway the course lof justice. Mr T. G. Maxwell, S.M. allowed suppression of name until a depositions hearing of
the charges which were laid (indictably under the Crimes Act, ! Messrs M. J. A. Brown and A. Satyanand, appeared for the defendant. The Magistrate granted bail of $250 with a similar (surety. The depositions hearing will be held on January 24.
