THOUGHTS OF A KIWI I used to live a happy life, Wandering through bush eating, pecking. But it was different when man came. The bush was out, the food scarce. He didn’t understand. Perhaps he just didn't care, About freedom or the fresh clean air. The sound of water running over stones.

The rays ot sunlight that filled our homes. Now road and railways cross our land. Dust and smoke fill the air Noise around us everywhere, Oh that man could live with us, Appreciate the things that nature made. For it’s to all of us she gave. —by Cheryl Borck
