Payment for guide books wanted
Visitors to Christchurch Ihould pay for the Canterbury Promotion Council’s guide to the city, the council has been told. Mr L. H. Rigby, a director »f Gold Band Taxis, Ltd, said the booklet would circulate more widely if more were printed and sold through motels. He said he had recently' vilited a number of motels, and be had found that where they could obtain only 10 booklets free, because of the limited publication, they could probably sell 50 or 100 if Bore were printed. I
