Shareprices on the London Stock Exchange climbed steadily during the middle of last week, but came back a little on Friday. The failure by E.E.C. partner to agree on the amount of Britain’s contribution, was partly the cause of Friday’s weakness, as were the developments in Iran and the consequent unease on Wall Street.
