C.M.I. div. raised
The directors of Consolidated Metal Industries, Ltd, have raised the interim dividend from 4c a share to 4.25 c (8.5 per cent) a share on capital increased by the one-for-10 bonus issue made in August. Unaudited group net profit rose 36.7 per cent to $849,440 in the six months to September 30 on sales 22.4 per cent higher at $l5 million.
The dividend is payable on December 20, ex dividend on December 6.
