Special trains for Christmas
PA Wellington A new Christmas holiday railway passenger service will run this year between Wellington and Auckland, the General Manager of Railways (Mr T. M. Hayward) has said. The Christmas Scenic Special will make four return journeys, leaving uckland and Wellington at 10 a.m. and arriving at Wellington at 10.10 p.m. and Auckland at 10 p.m. The Special will leave Wellington at 10 a.m. on December 22, December 24. December 27, and .January 1, and will make the return journey from Auckland at 10 a.m. on December 23, December 26, December 28, and January 2.
