MANUFACTURING MANAGER We seek a versaH’e and enthusiastic Manufacturing Manager for • our Dunedin Pharmaceutical Laboratory, The Laboratory is part of the highly diversified N.Z. Farmers' Fertilizer Group of Companies. It is the largest of its type in New Zealand, manufacturing a wide range of pharmaceutical products. The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for the* efficient operation of the plant to 1 Good Manufacturing Practice 1 ' standards, through assisting in drawing up production programmes and effectively completing them. This person will have four Supervisors and 40 staff reporting. The position requires a flexible person who has good management of people skills, with preferably a production background * in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or food processing. DAIRY CO., LIMITED SENIOR LABORATORY TECHNICIAN WE REQUIRE a suitably qualified person to join us, as a Senior Laboratory Technician in our Maungatapere Branch quality control team. This laboratory conducts analyses on milk powders, anhydrous milkfat and butter, holding an agency certification for milk powders and anhydrous milkfat. The Senior Laboratory Technician will be involved in the agency grading of these products, all aspects of quality control during their manufacture, as well as general laboratory operations including water analysis and instrument maintenance. The person we seek should have the following attributes:— —Ability to supervise staff. —Some knowledge of dairy or other food manufacturing processes. —Appreciation of the principles of quality assurance. —Knowledge of agency grading. —Ability to communicate at all levels. —Genuine practical aptitude. —Recognised tertiary qualification (such as N.Z.C.S., Dip.
